Watch and learn about Mantralling, advice on ring training to later %u2018have a go%u2019 at a fun dog show. Come along and enjoy the day with your dogs.Spitz in the Park for all Spitz Breeds Held at Bretford Village Hall, Saddlestones, CV23 0JZ from 19th - 21st July 2024. Too late to visit this year but keep watch for this event in 2025. Lots of fun activities and funds raised going to charities including the Canine Genetic CentreBreed Appreciation Dayand Multiple Choice ExamThursday, 31st October 2024 to be held ON-LINE from 19:30 to 21:30 organised by the Norwegian Elkhound Breed Council (see advert on page 3). Experts will be speaking about the breed and anyone wanting to judge can remain and sit the examination that follows. No travelling involved, so sit back at home and see what you can learn.NORWEGIAN ELKHOUND BULLETINSpitz in the Park event for all Spitz Breeds Funds raised go to Charities. On Friday Eye Testing with Dr Bedford. Saturday, A Companion Dog Show and Good Citizen testing (Bronze, Silver & Gold) followed by an evening quiz & supper. Sunday the Spitzlympics - egg & spoon race, musical downs, sausage race, etc. FUN FUN. Keep an eye out for next year%u2019s event. There will also be an opportunity to %u201cHave A Go%u201d yourselves for a small chargeRingcraft/Handling session where anyone who has never tried showing or would like to pick up some extra tips can have a goLunch break - please bring your own picnicSpecialist panel - Q & A session. The panellists will start by telling us a little bit about themselves, how they found the breed, what they have achieved, their favourite/most memorable achievement, where their Kennel Name originated, how many dogs they have etc.Questions can be sent in, in advance of the day if you wish. A box will also be available for those that would prefer not to ask at the time. But please do not be shy! Remember we all had these questions at some point and will have asked them ourselves. Any questions you may have about the breed/their care, showing, breeding etc, it really doesn%u2019t matter.Fun ClassesThese will be judged by a well known experienced member of the Elkhound World, so please do join in where you can.
