BULLETIN 6 %u00a92025 NARAENA MARCH 20253The 27th Annual Contest of Champions, Stud Book Winners, Puppies, Special Yearlings, Special Beginners and Veterans 2024 The Contest began as soon as the AGM was completed with our Judge, Stuart Byrne, who had been patiently waiting in his car in order to keep his identity a surprise. Margaret Deuchar appointed the judge as the judges%u2019 identity is always kept as a Secret until he or she walks into the ring. A glimpse into the future - The Baby Puppies For the first time we were treated to a Baby Puppy Walk for puppies 4 months and over. Classes for Baby Puppies have been introduced by the Royal Kennel Club at general shows and so it was rather lovely to see them included on the day. This very short video gives you sight of the puppies and their owners/handlers. The judge was very gentle in his examination of each dog and they were asked to move around the ring as they would be asked to do at a show. They were not placed upon completion of their appearance in the ring but left to great applause.
